Pay Transparency:

 

The anticipated salary for individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:

The marketing strategy team develops turnkey and custom marketing solutions that leverage the full scope of Audacy's portfolio across audio, digital, social and experiential platforms. We're looking for a creative, collaborative and strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for media and marketing partnerships.

Working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams across Audacy, this role will develop client solutions that drive new business and grow existing partnerships across national, regional and local advertisers. The Associate Manager will also help identify local sponsorship opportunities, support proactive market outreach, and manage the team's sales collateral and marketing materials.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with designated sales teams on RFP responses, proactive pitches, renewals and client presentations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client businesses, objectives and the consumer journey by actively listening to sales teams and client needs.
  • Develop compelling marketing strategies and communicate complex ideas in clear, client-friendly ways.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure recommendations and proposal elements can be executed across Radio, Podcasts, Streaming, Digital, Social and Experiential assets.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for integrated marketing programs.
  • Research industry trends, competitive activity and emerging opportunities to strengthen proposals.
  • Proactively work with local markets to identify sponsorship opportunities, tentpole events and revenue-driving marketing ideas.
  • Manage and maintain the Marketing Strategy team's sales collateral, including one-sheets, capability decks, proposal templates, case studies and other client-facing materials, ensuring content is current and readily accessible.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across divisions to ensure Audacy's full portfolio of assets is represented in client recommendations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of media and marketing solutions that deliver against a variety of client objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in media, marketing, advertising, sales marketing or related fields, with exposure to traditional and/or digital media.
  • Experience supporting RFP responses, developing presentations or contributing to client proposals is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Slides and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems and contribute innovative ideas on behalf of clients and colleagues.
