Overview:

Audacy Houston’s legendary KILT-FM has a morning show opening. We are searching for a fun, interactive, innovative, local Morning Show host with a history of success to be the star on this legendary brand. This is a live and local position that requires all personalities to be based in the Houston area. We will consider talent ready to be part of a show as well as existing shows. What You'll Do:

• Create original and compelling content for Morning Show
• Participate in and develop original content for social media platforms; managing online personality presence
• Collaborate with Brand Manager and other employees to develop unique content for show
• Engage with audience on air, online and in person
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and weekly coaching sessions
• Make appearances to promote the station, show, and sponsors.
• Keeping up with local and national trends for pop culture, lifestyle and music

Required & Preferred:

• 5+ years On Air experience preferred
• Solid production skills and working knowledge of studio audio equipment, including digital systems such as Vox Pro, Audition & Wide Orbit.
• Proficiency in social media/digital content creation
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
