The anticipated starting salary range for Seattle, W.A. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $21.30/Hr. - $21.30/Hr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:

107.7 The End (KNDD) is seeking a new host or hosts for our long-running local music show, Locals Only.

Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the Seattle local music scene and/or all genres of Alternative music.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Curate, produce and host 107.7 The End's Locals Only
  • Oversee the digital upload and maintenance of The End’s local music library
  • Monitor the music/commercial logs and operate the control board during a live air shift
  • Collaborate with The End’s programming staff on additional local music initiatives
  • Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
  • Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
  • Protect the station’s FCC license
  • Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of alternative music artists based in the Seattle area, along with the entire Pacific Northwest.
  • Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
  • Knowledge of the format and audience required
  • Solid production skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Wide Orbit, are a plus
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is require
