Pay Transparency: The anticipated starting salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000/yr to $80,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview

Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President and CEO as a dedicated right hand and gatekeeper. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President, CEO, and senior leadership team.

The ideal individual will be proactive, positive-minded, and comfortable working within an entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and community-oriented environment. This role requires the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The Executive Assistant will be able to work independently on projects and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

  • Manage the President & CEO’s complex schedule and associated logistical responsibilities, including planning, coordinating, and ensuring the schedule is followed by acting as their gatekeeper.
  • Manage GoogleSuite e-mail and calendar; schedule virtual meetings (Zoom, GoogleSuite, GoTo Meetings, etc.).
  • Coordinate calendars with external and internal constituents.
  • Manage and schedule travel arrangements for both personal and business trips, including flights, hotel reservations, rental cars, and event registrations.
  • Prepare detailed itineraries for travel and related meetings.
  • Manage and submit expense reports for the CEO and other members of the C-Suite as requested.
  • Answer all incoming calls and make outbound calls on behalf of the CEO.
  • Communicate with members of the company’s Board of Directors, assist with travel arrangement and expense reports for Board Meetings.
  • Occasionally assist the CEO in various day-to-day personal matters.
  • Support the CEO's involvement in outside Boards and Committees.
  • Anticipate all needs and expectations of the President & CEO by being proactive rather than reactive.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously and proactively.
  • Work closely and effectively with the President & CEO to keep them well-informed of upcoming commitments.
  • Develop ideas to operate more effectively and analyze situations to take corrective actions.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, trustworthiness, integrity, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Greet and host guests at the 345 Hudson Street office with hospitality, helping them find facilities and conference rooms.
  • Ensure conference rooms are prepped, clean, and set up with any necessary AV equipment.
  • Facilitate catering needs for large meetings, collaborate with the Office Manager and IT as needed for meeting and event support.

Qualifications

More About You:

 

Education/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Preferred minimum 1+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a C-Suite executive; or equivalent support experience or strong internship

Required Qualifications:

  • Interest in establishing a career in the media and entertainment industry
  • Fully proficient and advanced in GoogleSuite.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding, and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • A forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and can complete assignments with little direction.
  • Professional demeanor and business acumen.
  • This role is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a broadcast, audio, or media company; internships count! 
  • Experience with Zoom, GoogleSuite, GoTo Meetings, and Webinars.
