98.5 WNCX, Cleveland’s Classic Rock and flagship of the Cleveland Browns Radio Network, is seeking a dynamic, entertaining, and experienced Morning Drive Host to lead mornings on one of the most iconic rock stations in the country.

This is your chance to connect with a loyal audience that loves their music loud, their personalities real, and their mornings local. You’ll be the voice that gets Northeast Ohio moving every day—with music, storytelling, listener interaction, and a strong sense of what makes this market tick.

What You'll Do:

• Host a live, weekday morning show with a focus on classic rock, local news, lifestyle, Cleveland sports and listener engagement weekdays 5:30-10am
• Create compelling, relatable, and entertaining content across all platforms: on-air, digital, and social
• Collaborate with station Operations and Brand Mangers to craft a show that’s timely, topical, and true to the WNCX brand
• Engage with the Cleveland community—on the air, online, and in person
• Prep smartly, think creatively, and deliver authentically every single day
• Contribute to station and Audacy Cleveland promotions, live broadcasts, artist interviews, concerts and client endorsements
• Voice track weekend and additional shifts as needed

Required:

• Proven experience as a radio host or personality, ideally in morning or drive formats
  
• A strong grasp of the classic rock artists, music, lifestyle and audience
  
• Quick wit, authentic delivery, and the ability to balance humor, heart, and headlines
  
• Strong knowledge of and connection to Cleveland, its culture, its sports and its people
  
• Confidence in using social media to build audience and extend the brand
  
• Comfort working in a PPM-rated, competitive environment

Preferred:

• Can bring a built-in following or strong local connections
  
• Have production chops (Adobe Audition, WideOrbit, etc.)
  
• Know how to turn daily moments into podcast-worthy content
  
• Are able to deliver compelling Cleveland Browns content
