Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic On-Air Talent & Producer to join our team! This role combines live midday hosting, production, community involvement, and multi-platform content creation.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Host a live midday show with engaging, entertaining, and relevant content.
  • Voice-track weekday shifts for La Grande Dallas and Mega 101 Houston as assigned.
  • Conduct and produce a weekend community affairs program, including interviews with nonprofits and local leaders.
  • Assist the production hub, including commercial production, imaging, and voice work.
  • Provide live traffic updates and station mentions as needed during syndicated national programming.
  • Create and publish daily social media and website content to connect with listeners beyond the airwaves.
  • Participate in live remote broadcasts, station events, and community appearances as a brand ambassador.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager and team on creative ideas and station priorities.
  • Public appearances as assigned by brand manager for community events and or public service. 
  • Remote broadcast and drive to retails appearance for local businesses including station activations and public events.

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • 3–5 years of on-air experience in radio (Spanish radio experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of radio production tools and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interview skills (bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree is preferred but not required if experience is equivalent.
  • Passion for connecting with the community and representing the station at events.
