Pay Transparency: 

 

The anticipated starting salary for New York-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65,000/yr. to $75,000/yr.

 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as inernal and external equity.

Overview: 

Audacy is building a world-class Insights & Research team focused on growing our voice, differentiating our brand, educating our leadership team, and empowering our national and local sales teams with content to sell better and win more. The Senior Insights Analyst, a key member of the team, will construct data-driven sales narratives and content to compel clients and prospects to work with Audacy. The Senior Analyst will be an audiophile and media-savvy professional, equipped with fundamental knowledge of research study design, methodologies and the media landscape.  Strategic thinking, strong story-telling skills, client centricity, and an ability to turn data into actionable insights are a must. Experience supporting sales organizations and media consulting is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Create and deliver compelling presentations for meetings, pitches and market-specific leadership activities. 
  • Tell data-driven stories that help clients build brand and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Identify and report on audio trends, with an emphasis on the sports marketplace.
  • Build actionable insights from syndicated audio research resources and Audacy’s first-party data sources.
  • Design and conduct primary research studies, to address key sales challenges and advance the audio industry.
  • Work with A.I. tools to aggregate large datasets and expedite information delivery.
  • Publish articles and white papers based on research and insights, as directed.
  • Become an indispensable resource to Audacy’s national and local sales teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

More About You:

 

Required & Preferred:

  • Two or more years of experience in a research and/or consulting position, preferably related to media.
  • Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative research experience to marketing, to tell data-driven narratives.
  • Interest in professional and collegiate sports and the sports audio genre.
  • Solid knowledge of excel, SPSS and other software that enables data analysis.
  • Excellent presentation creation skills.
  • Strong presenter, confident speaker, executive presence.
  • Ability to convey business ideas succinctly and effectively.
  • Ability to understand client challenges and leverage data to shape strategic recommendations.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
