Overview

Audacy San Diego has an immediate opening for a National Sales Coordinator. The National Sales Coordinator is responsible for the project management and execution of the National Sales business for Audacy San Diego.

 

This is a hybrid role in San Diego, but is open to a remote candidate in any of Audacy's markets. 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

The NSC performs the following duties personally or by assisting the National Sales Department. 

  • Acts as primary point of contact for VP of MultiMarket Sales in assigned market(s) for all national sales needs
  • Station contact for National client requests - works closely with the rep firm
  • Enter, revise and maintain National Orders into Wide Orbit 
    • Ensure all national orders have proper order and line coding
  • Enter POs and Collect missing copy for National Accounts 
    • Run daily missing copy reports to ensure copy is applied in a timely manner 
    • Spearhead outreach to national reps to gather any copy needed
    • Daily entry of copy and spots into vCreative for production 
  • Communicate with station talent to produce national endorsement copy
  • Liaise with internal market contacts to vet talent for national endorsements
  • Manage high volume of email requests
  • Maintain database of Traffic/Continuity contacts for National Accounts
  • Send out post/pre log times upon request to National Clients 
  • Collect air-checks upon request and send to National Clients (Live Reads/Promotional Commercials/Recorded Commercials) 
  • Liaise with internal market contacts to vet talent for national endorsements
  • Manage all preempted spots for National Accounts in Wide Orbit (rebook or credit preempted spots)
  • Spearhead communication with national reps regarding makegood and credited national spots
  • Handle all elements of Invoice Discrepancies (research discrepancy/fill out credit memo if needed, report adjustments to corporate billing, communicate to management/rep)  
  • Submit requests for memo bills and invoice revisions 
  • Maintain database of contacts for National Accounts * Manage the National Collections Process 
  • Create presentations using Google Slides and/or Powerpoint for promotional requests
  • Work closely with internal departments to gather information for the national sales team
  • Act as in-market point of contact in execution of all national sales campaigns including, but not limited to, contesting, sponsorships, and talent endorsement campaigns
  • Create recap presentations for national promotions 
  • Provide backup coverage for markets when coordinators are away/on leave

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • The National Sales Coordinator should be an active participant in the sales process, lending not only administrative support, but creative ideas and feedback.
  • Must be an energetic, enthusiastic, people person with time management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks for many people.
  • Must have endurance, patience and superior time and project management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and excellent computer skills a must (including knowledge of the Google Workspace - Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides..

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $50,000 to $55,000 annually. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
