Overview

Audacy Los Angeles is searching for an exceptional Business Development Leader to join our team! The General Sales Manager, Southern California is responsible for driving the growth of Audacy's Los Angeles sales organization by creating and executing strategies that will drive revenue, enhance our competitive advantage and increase market share.

Responsibilities

You are a creative, strategic thinker with the ability to formulate new solutions that lead to increased business opportunities.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Create & execute strategies that drive revenue for the LA Sales organization
  • Use new strategies to enhance our competitive advantage 
  • Increase market share by maximizing all platforms
  • Track emerging market trends
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Develop training and processes for sales staff
  • Manage a team of Account Executives focused on New Business Development 
  • Grow current relationships with internal stakeholders (Dept. Heads)
  • Grow and manage of key client relationships

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of proven success of business development by strategically formulating new solutions for clients
  • Past success of surpassing revenue targets/goals
  • 2 years' experience managing and developing a team of sales professionals
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

 

 

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

 

The anticipated starting salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $200,000/yr to $250,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
