Overview

Audacy, Baltimore is currently seeking part-time On-Air talent for 105.7 The Fan/WJZ-FM.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
  • Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing on-line personality presence
  • Protect the station’s FCC license
  • Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
  • Other duties as required by management

Required

  • On-air experience
  • Experience in media or entertainment
  • Excellent communicator with strong creative skills
  • Knowledge of the formats and audience
  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and proof of auto insurance is required

Preferred:

  • Should possess understanding of FCC policies 
  • Strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment for on-air and production execution. Promo Suite, VCreative, Wide Orbit a plus
  • Programming and imaging skills a plus

Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Majority of work day will be spent sitting at broadcast board, speaking into a microphone and manipulating board controls. We are looking for talent that can work various shifts to include, nights/weekends, holidays, and cover for full-time talent as needed.

Additional Information

The anticipated starting salary range for Baltimore, MD based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.00 - $15.00 per hour to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
