We are looking for an innovative, passionate and results driven Technical Product Owner to join our rapidly growing digital engineering team. As the Technical Product Owner on the Clients & Client Services team (CCS), you will be responsible for collecting and documenting requirements for our mobile, web, and connected device apps, as well as setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by Audcay Digital software development teams in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. You will be working with multiple stakeholders ranging from Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics and other groups.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology in the mobile, web, and OTT (Over the top - Roku, smart speakers, tv apps, etc.) spaces. They will help deliver best-in-class products from inception to launch in a fast-paced environment. This person is highly motivated and has a proven track record of launching successful products that users love and is an advocate for our customers when meeting with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management. 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Take the lead of the cross-functional CCS team as the Technical Product Owner.
  • Build and manage functional and non-functional requirements, and provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and prioritize the feature backlog and work with the team on development plans for the product.
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning and elaboration of the user stories.
  • Work with the greater product team on building product road-map and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Leverage data-driven analysis to work with product management on defining product strategy to optimize revenue and to improve the experience.
  • Support business development teams by providing assistance and product overview for new integrations. Work closely with our product team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Lead the planning product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Be available and active in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release and Sprint goals
  • Research and analyze market, users, and competitive landscape.
  • Be a champion of Agile/Scrum best practices and keep abreast of new trends.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of product owner experience in the digital arena with a focus on Media and modern technology concepts.
  • Be the liaison between the development teams and all external teams, such as product, design, and other backend microservices.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent people skills and be a team player; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization.
  • A "user-first" mentality to advocate for the best UX for our listeners whilst maximizing revenue.
  • Ability to manage multiple scrum teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with vision and sharp analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, a graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus.

 

Nice to have:

  • Advanced technical understanding of the media and streaming ecosystems.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

 

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $130,000-$145,000 plus bonus. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. This position can be located remotely or at one of Audacy’s  offices in Denver, Philadelphia,  or Vancouver, WA.
