Overview

Audacy is looking for a self-motivated, decisive, and collaborative Technical Project Manager to work on the Ad Tech Products and Platforms team within its Revenue Organization.

This role entails overseeing internal development projects spanning cross functional teams as well as supporting the Ad Tech Product and Platform Product teams in projects related to operationalizing new capabilities and external vendor enhancements/implementations. The majority of projects will be in support of Audacy’s recent Ad Tech Business Transformation effort. The project manager will be responsible for managing and leading their projects end-to-end. 

We are looking for someone who thrives in a complex, fast paced environment, and can use great judgment to make decisions. This person understands (or has ability to learn) when there is a barrier to accomplishing a goal or meeting a milestone and the overall impact and can empower teams to overcome these obstacles.

The anticipated starting salary range for NYC based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100,000-$140,000. Ideal location for this position is New York. Philadelphia or remote will also be considered.

 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Smartsheet and Atlassian tools (JIRA,Confluence)
  • Skills: Problem solving, critical thinking, oral and written communications with a developed diplomacy skills required in order to guide, influence and move teams to action
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing several concurrent high visibility projects of moderate to high complexity with a duration greater than three months
  • Experience with vendor implementation and/or migration projects
  • Own, track and manage project deliverables and milestones leveraging Project Management and your PM toolbelt including but not limited to:
    • Creating a project plan - Work in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to document changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the project. Provides input on possible changes needed based on current project status.
    • Status Reporting - Project team and executive management
    • Communication and Governance Plans
    • Risk Mitigation Plan - Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
    • Decisions / Actions / Issues Log
  • Manage costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensures schedule and budget are met. May revise as appropriate.
  • Manage client, company and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics. Recommend changes or alternate paths based upon performance 
  • Support Product Owners in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client, stakeholders, partners, engineering team, QA, and vendors through the delivery of each project.
  • Work with Product/Engineering teams to ensure clean project hand-offs to Revenue Operations, Planning or Sales Functions

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • PMP Certification
  • Scrum Master Certification (SCM)
  • Experience managing projects in Media or AdTech Space
  • Familiarity with GSuite 
  • Interfacing with external and internal stakeholders and SME’s, and C-level personnel
  • Process Management and Improvement: 
    • Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for
