Play-by-Play Announcer (WCBS-AM)

We are looking for Play by Play Announcer to provide regular season coverage on our MLB baseball (English language) broadcasts during the preseason, regular season, and post-season.


What You'll Do:

  • Participate in live pre-game and post-game shows
  • Conduct live interviews with players, coaching, and team management
  • Post on all social media platforms
  • Participate in content creation across all platforms
  • Appearances on WCBS AM, WINS & WFAN
  • Fill-in and guest appearances during the off-season
  • Make guest appearances on radio, television, and online media, as required



More About You:


Required & Preferred:


  • Prior experience in sports play-by-play announcing in MLB
  • Familiarity and passion for NY-based MLB teams
  • Must have the ability to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as scheduling requires
  • Must have the ability to travel with the team for the full season and additional games if needed
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
  • Must meet MLB team background check, if required 
  • Familiar with all FCC broadcast requirements
  • Ability to operate a studio board
