Overview

Audacy Austin is currently seeking a part-time Producer/Board Operator for Talk 1370.

Responsibilities

 

What You'll Do:

  • Operating the control board during live programming, including news events and sports play-by-play
  • Assistance with production of promos, spots
  • Booking guest interviews and updating guest contacts
  • Screening phone calls for live talk shows
  • Writing news articles
  • Assisting with live remote broadcasts, either in-studio or as a field producer
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be computer literate and have a knowledge of the broadcast area
  • Past experience, either on-air or behind the scenes, is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with news/talk programming is a must
  • WideOrbit and Adobe Audition knowledge helpful but not required
  • Some shifts may include nights/weekends and/or mornings, including on a fill-in basis
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle check
