Overview

Audacy is looking for a passionate & creative digital media maven to serve as the chief point of contact between Audacy and digital distribution partners across voice, tech, telecom, automotive and emerging categories responsible for the distribution and growth of the Audacy digital product, content and brand.

Reporting to the SVP of Digital Audio Content, this role will work closely with Programming, Marketing, and Product teams to expand and optimize distribution on all devices and platforms where consumers expect to find Audacy content. 

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves media, and wants to create value at the intersection between industry-leading Audio content and digital technology, with an emphasis on  voice platforms/assistants and automotive content interfaces.  The ideal candidate is interested in joining a transformative digital content/product/marketing team and can facilitate partnerships across all areas of the business. Candidate will have a desire to roll up their sleeves and take responsibility for the entire distribution & co-marketing process. This is not limited to but includes defining business requirements,, partner identification, negotiating agreements, operationalizing and executing partnerships, and post-deal handoff/follow through. 

 

The role will be based in Philadelphia or New York. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point-person entrusted to create and optimize the relationships between  Audacy and distribution partners such as voice platforms, OTT streaming services, automotive OEMs, device manufacturers, emerging social platforms, and more.·    

  • Responsible for forming strategic deals and managing key relationships with major content & technology platforms, OEMs and other industry partners who will unlock audience and new revenue opportunities.

  • Identify & model out opportunities based on industry trends and key areas of alignment between  & 3rd parties

  • Negotiate contracts, serve as the point person for key partnerships and relationships.

  • Ability to represent Audacy in industry groups and forums related to key issues around digital distribution.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:Minimum of BA or BS from an accredited 4-year university required.

  • 3+ years of experience in digital/content business development and/or syndication.

  • Strong knowledge of digital audio media marketplace.

  • Disciplined, well-organized, efficient and high-quality work output.

  • Self-starter who thrives on innovation and driving ideas forward; not afraid to roll sleeves up and get hands dirty. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling; able to develop and maintain quality and meaningful business relationships and partnerships

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with extreme attention to detail while maintaining a sense of humor!

  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, highly fluid start-up environment.

  • Keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive actions plans and communications. 

  • Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
