The Audacy Call Center is a team within Audacy’s sales department.  This team sets appointments in over 40 Audacy markets in the U.S.  for local advertising sales team members.  The team focuses on both outbound activities (telephone and email) and handling inbound inquiries. The Inside Sales Operations Assistant assists the leadership team in specific tasks related to the functioning of the Inside Sales team as a whole.

This position is 80% acting as a Sales Development Representative, appointment setting for our outside sales team and 20% acting as an Operations Assistant.

The Inside Sales Operations Assistant role includes handling tasks delegated to them by the leadership team to facilitate the productivity of the team as a whole. These can vary from updating calendars and spreadsheets to reviewing calls for quality improvement opportunities, and may change on a day to day basis based upon the needs of the team.

 Maintaining a strong relationship with Audacy market contacts throughout the United States is also important to keep participation quantity and quality optimal.

  • Maintain performance and standard expectations of a Sales Development Representative
  • Salesforce—testing and troubleshooting new processes and functionality as it pertains to the efficiency of the team
  • Consulting on and assisting with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding/coaching of new team members
  • Daily mailbox maintenance, responding to and delegating incoming leads as needed
  • Inside Sales liaison for the Audacy outside sales teams and market leaders
  • Report tracking and maintenance as needed
  • Appointment oversight and tracking as needed
  • Some coaching of Sales Development Representatives and outside sales representatives
  • Acting as a backup for certain other leadership-related duties when the Supervisor and Manager are unavailable





  • Experience with Salesforce and spreadsheet tracking
  • Digital marketing or sales experience
  • Call center experience
  • Sales coaching and training experience
