Audacy Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, has current openings for experienced MEDIA SALES REPS,  with market leaders, WKRZ, FROGGY 101, WILK and Max102. Duties include,  soliciting new business, preparing appropriate sales presentations, DAILY USE OF SALES FORCE,  thoroughly analyzing customer needs and providing customers with creative ideas while utilizing all of our assets to address their challenges and achieve their goals. You must be highly motivated, persuasive and have strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Building strong relationships with advertisers to ensure their success and repeat business
  • Proactively develop new business by using all of our advertising and marketing assets
  • Creating marketing campaigns and strategically selling to local and regional decision makers
  • Closing business and executing the client campaign as agreed upon
  • Provide exceptional customer service for your clients
  • Achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Continually build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • High school graduate required
  • Must also have basic knowledge of MS office products, i.e., MS Word and Windows environment.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
  • Self-motivated, goal driven confident and creative

Preferred:

 

  • Prior experience in sales/marketing; previous radio sales experience, news, sports, or sponsorship sales preferred
