Executive Producer - 2400 Sports

Audacy is hiring an Executive Producer to lead day-to-day operations at 2400Sports, the newest podcast studio in Audacy’s award-winning digital audio portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • In this role, you will oversee all production and content operations for all 2400Sports podcasts.
  • You'll partner with producers and talent inside and outside of the company to develop slates of new podcasts for sports fans across the country and around the world. 
  • You will accel at developing new and creative ways to produce shows, both with teams you build, and resources you leverage across Audacy’s portfolio of brands, talent, partnerships, and studios in each of the top markets in the U.S..
  • With your passion for many different types of shows, from talk and interview, to news, to narrative, to new formats that you and your teams will create; you will develop ways to drive scale, through big, hit podcasts, and by developing networks around topics both mainstream and niche.
  • You will leverage Audacy’s central podcast sales, operations and marketing organization so that you can focus on what you do best – creating great podcast content, at scale, for sports fans, and building and motivating great creative and production teams to do their best work.


More About You:


Required & Preferred:


  • 5+ years in audio production, with direct experience in podcasts specifically, and sports content generally
  • Track record of developing and launching shows that are commercially successful
  • History of managing budgets, and regularly exceeding expectations
  • An ability to think differently and creatively about production models and methods to drive scale while maintain quality
  • Experience independently leading multiple teams and shows creatively all the way from development, to launch, to series completion
  • Experience working with talent and hosts of various backgrounds
  • Leadership experience mentoring and motivating staff at all skill levels, and teaching all aspects of production as needed
  • Demonstrated success working in matrixed environment, motivating teams that don’t report directly to you
  • A great communicator, both inside and outside of the company
